About the Event
The team at Travel Drumheller is excited to announce they are going to attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ “Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Dinosaurs” world record on April 27, 2024 during our Jurassic Jamboree event.
We don’t know how to do small events, so that means a weekend of fun for you!
Costumes
- All costumes must be FULL body dinosaurs costumes with a head piece and body of a dinosaur. Inflatables are great!
- NO ride on style dinosaurs
- In Calgary? The Costume Shoppe has all of your dino costume needs!
- We costumes at our office! Not many left, get them quick!

Step into a world of wonder as Downtown Drumheller transforms into a fun Downtown Street Party! Explore the bustling streets filled with exciting activities, games, and attractions for dino-lovers of all ages!
11:00am: 🦖 Official Count for GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ Attempt
Join us as we make history with an official count for the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ attempt for the largest gathering of people dressed as dinosaurs!
12:00pm – 2:00pm: 🎶 Live Music by The Accomplice Band
Rock out to the electrifying tunes of Calgary’s own The Accomplice Band as they take the stage and keep the party going!

🎲 Street Games & Activities – Test your dino-skills with a variety of fun-filled games and activities happening throughout the event!
🛍️ Vendors & Mini-Car Show – Discover unique treasures and marvel at classic cars at our vendor marketplace and mini-car show!
🚒 Fire Hall Open House – Explore the world of firefighting and get an up-close look at our local fire hall with guided tours and demonstrations!
🍔 Food Trucks – Indulge your taste buds with a mouthwatering selection of delicious treats and savory delights from our lineup of food trucks!
🦴 Fossil Fun with the Royal Tyrrell Museum Education Team – Dive into the fascinating world of fossils with hands-on activities and exhibits brought to you by the experts from the Royal Tyrrell Museum!
