Badlands at Night: Intro to Astrophotography

With dark Prairie skies, low-lying canyons, little city light pollution and the incredible rock formations of the Badlands, the Drumheller region offers spectacular opportunities for astrophotography!

Over this two-day workshop, Paul and his assistants will lead participants through a variety of night photography concepts, from preparing for an astrophotography session to image capture in the field and post-processing.

In the classroom, the event will include time for editing demos, critiquing, slideshows and lectures. In the field, we will be visiting a handful of locations that are famous for their beauty and intrigue in the daylight, but that look even more gorgeous under the night skies.
