Badlands Pride Week 2024
Join us for a vibrant celebration of love and equality during Badlands Pride Week 2024! From June 2nd to June 9th, we’re hosting a week-long extravaganza filled with exciting events that promise fun, laughter, and plenty of rainbow vibes. Check out our lineup below:
Sunday, June 2:
- Pride Flag Raising
- Location: Rotary Park
- Time: 11:00 AM
- Description: Let’s start the week off with a good ol’ flag raising ceremony at Rotary Park. Join us as we raise the Pride flag high and show our support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Remarks from the Badlands Pride Association and the Town of Drumheller.
- Royal Tea
- Location: East Coulee School Museum
- Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- Description: Indulge in an inclusive three-course afternoon tea experience at the historical East Coulee School Museum, complete with joyful drag performances by Roxxie Cotton, Argintina Hailey-Lawrence, and more! Tickets: $45. All ages event. The Museum opens at 12 p.m. Tea and performances begin at 1 p.m. Tickets available at Royal Tea. Proudly sponsored by East Coulee School Museum and Travel Drumheller.
Monday, June 3:
- Reading with Royalty
- Location: Drumheller Public Library
- Time: 4:00 PM
- Description: Join Drumheller’s own Drag Queen, Roxxie Cotton, for a fabulous storytime at the Drumheller Public Library. All ages welcome. Sponsored by Rural Mental Health Network
Tuesday, June 4:
- Paint Night
- Location: Navy League
- Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Wednesday, June 5:
- Badlands Biking – Pride Ride
- Location: Bikes and Bites
- Time: 7:00 PM
- Description: Let’s get together for a community bike ride in celebration of pride! All ages and ability levels welcome. Starting at Bikes and Bites, the route will be based on who attends. Sponsored by Bikes and Bites & Badlands Trail Society
Thursday, June 6:
- Board Games Night
- Location: Freson’s Bros lounge
- Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Description: Join us for a fun-filled board games night at Freson’s Bros lounge. Children 12 years and older and adults welcome. Sponsored by Family Resource Network
Friday, June 7:
- The Corey Hotline & Joe Vickers @ Heller Good
