Boogie in the Badlands

Boogie in the Badlands

Dates: May 22-24
Location: Downtown Drumheller, Alberta
Host: Valley Cruisers Car Club

Classic cars, chrome, and rock-and-roll energy take over the valley for Boogie in the Badlands, one of Drumheller’s favourite early-summer traditions. Car enthusiasts from across the region roll into the Badlands for a full weekend of cruising, live entertainment, and vintage style set against the dramatic hoodoos and coulees of the valley.

The heart of the weekend is the lively Downtown Show & Shine, where hundreds of classic cars, hot rods, and custom builds line the streets of Drumheller. Visitors can meet owners, admire the craftsmanship, and enjoy the electric atmosphere that only a classic car weekend can bring.

Alongside the cars, the event also features the Queen of the Badlands Pin-Up Contest, celebrating retro fashion and timeless glamour inspired by the golden era of automobiles.

Whether you’re bringing a ride, cheering on your favourite build, or simply enjoying the music and community spirit, Boogie in the Badlands is a weekend that perfectly captures the fun and nostalgia of car culture in the Canadian Badlands.
