About the Film
From local producer, director, and host Matthew Todd Paproski of Wildlife Wranglers Productions and Starland Studios, The Last Howl is a heartfelt Alberta-made documentary following a wildlife filmmaker and his wheelchair-bound brother as they travel across Canada exploring wolf conservation — while sharing their 20-year journey raising wolves.
The film features an incredible soundtrack including Los Lobos’ “Will the Wolf Survive”, an unreleased acoustic version of Blue Öyster Cult’s “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper,” and compositions by Ron Riddle, former drummer of Blue Öyster Cult.
