Tourism Development Fund

Travel Drumheller has funding available for up to $5,000 for events, marketing, and product development in the Drumheller region. The intention of this program is to provide seed funding for partners to start or expand events and products, or to enhance the customer experience so that customers want to share their experience with others and return to your business.

All tourism operators or organizations engaging in tourism initiatives within the Drumheller Valley are encouraged to apply. There are quarterly intake dates in March, June, September, and December. Applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event. Read the funding guidelines prior to submitting your application. For more information, contact development@traveldrumheller.com.

Tourism Excellence Awards

Travel Drumheller hands out two awards at the Celebration of Excellence in June each year to honour the great tourism businesses and people in the Drumheller region. The first is a Hospitality Ambassador Award for an individual that goes above and beyond to help customers and guests. The second award is the Tourism Business of the Year for a business or organization which has shown excellence in offering experiences to visitors in the Drumheller region.

Share your stories and nominate the businesses and/or individuals you love and have heard visitors talk about. Nominations are open March 1 to March 22, 2024. Complete the respective form below to submit your nomination.

The Travel Drumheller Tourism Job Fair
