The Sage Shoppe

The Sage Shoppe hosts a unique hands-on Drumheller experience where you can learn how to make your own sage stick. Workshop attendees will gather sage from the outdoor field and learn how to wrap their own sage stick.

Sage sticks are used for smudging ceremonies, which were originally practiced by Indigenous groups in the Canadian Badlands. The ceremony involves the burning of sage for the cleansing of negative energies.

The Sage Shoppe also carries their own line of bath, body, and soul products. Their Nature’s Essential Garden products are all organic, fair trade, and made in Canada.

Drop in, or call ahead, to book a workshop. Cyclists, bus tours, and groups are more than welcome. Visit The Sage Shoppe for a one-of-a-kind experience today!
