DNA Gardens
DNA Gardens is the perfect way to spend a day or even a weekend. We are a fruit farm with 10 different kinds of fruit that we grow in our 25 acres of orchard. We had so much fruit that we started looking at what we would do with it all. That led us to opening Our Root Winery and distillery. We make more than 6 fruit Wines and 5 Spirits.
Try them all right where they were grown by joining one of our wine tasting tours in the orchard.
While you’re here grab lunch at our Bootlegger cafe, We are open 5 days a week, May to October 31st, 2026. Meet your friends for one of our tasty lunch options and a wine slushie!
We are fully licensed, serving up our estate wines, wine slushies, vanilla black currant mojitos and other specialities, and we can accommodate gluten free and dairy free food restrictions.
In fact, we have lots of dining opportunities every weekend.
Pancake Breakfasts on Sunday mornings starting May 3rd. Starting May 8th, you can come for Pizza Nights on Friday evenings till September. We offer amazing pizza, drinks and a fire with Dave & Arden.
Dinner events like Brisket Dinner and long Table Dinner on Saturday nights from July to September.
Prairie High Tea: bring someone special and make an afternoon of it. Laughter, tea refills, and prairie hospitality included.
Stay the night camping in the orchards and wake up with freshly made just a 10 min walk away. While you’re here check out one of our many self guided hikes throughout the property and shop in our local farm store.
