The Royal Tyrrell Museum is a very popular Canadian tourist attraction and a centre of palaeontological research noted for its collection of hundreds of thousands of fossils. It is one of the world’s premier destinations for dinosaur enthusiasts and has made a name for itself  as a world-class dinosaur museum. The Royal Tyrrell Museum is located in the northwest quadrant of the Town of Drumheller, six kilometres northwest of Drumheller on Highway 838, in Midland Provincial Park.

It houses one of the world’s largest displays of dinosaurs and is Canada’s only museum dedicated exclusively to the science of paleontology. With numerous exhibits on display at the museum, continues to expand knowledge and understanding of dinosaurs through Alberta’s rich paleontological history.
