Atlas After Dark: Superstitions is an exclusive, 18+ curator-led tour of the Atlas Coal Mine—after dark. With only the light of our helmet lamps and the moon to guide us, we’ll explore true-life stories and superstitions of the mine workers through storytelling, demonstrations, and the site itself. The mine still reveals secrets to us now and then!

Key tour highlights include a ride on our 90-year-old locomotive and an eerie walk up the enclosed gantry to the top of the tipple, which towers 125 feet above the ground. Looking down from the tipple at night is an unforgettable experience. Plus, guests will leave with a couple of fun souvenirs to remember the night.
