Travel Drumheller is excited to announce a casting call for interested characters to join the group of passionate business and experience operators, hospitality employees, and residents delivering unique and interesting experiences to guests and residents. If you are open to sharing a talent or hobby, special space, or access to a unique area our training course will prepare you to turn your passion into a market-ready experience. This opportunity it for everyone and it starts by signing up to attend the information session on Thursday, October 8 from 6:00 – 7:30. This information session will be held in the Travel Drumheller Boardroom and online. During the session you will be introduced to the Blue Oak Advisory team who will provide additional information about the Experience Development course.
We all have a part to play in our local tourism industry. We are offering Experience Development training to help prepare you for your new leading or supporting role in the industry. The Experience Crafting course is an in-person experience scheduled for November 8 – 10, 2026 in Drumheller. The is an immersive two-and-a-half-day program that will teach you how to build an experience that:
- Turns your skills and story into a market ready experience;
- Expands your existing business with new revenue streams;
- Helps turn Drumheller into an attractive year-round tourism destination;
- Engages in a meaningful way with your guests; and
- Leaves a memorable and lasting impression.
This is your invitation to join the cast of characters that are building and delivering experiences that make an impact in Drumheller and surrounding communities.

Experience Crafting Program
Travel Drumheller’s path to building locally-led, story-rich experiences
Join us on a path to learning how to build locally-led, story-rich experiences for both visitors and residents. We are currently accepting applications for the second cohort of Experience Partners – submit your application today.
Accepted applicants will be required to participate in a two day course scheduled for November 2026 (dates will be announced soon). This is a fully immersive learning experience led by qualified facilitators. In attempts to lower the financial barriers for participants Travel Drumheller has subsidized this training. The course costs $200 which covers all of the course materials, lunches, coffee, and snacks.
At the conclusion of the two-day course, five businesses will be selected to receive 1:1 coaching and launch preparation. The subsidized cost for the additional coaching if you are selected is $300.
