Head for the clouds, with a helicopter tour

Once you’re full, fueled and ready to go, explore Drumheller from a bird’s-eye view with an exciting helicopter tour. Pick the perfect tour for your preference with Mountain View Helicopters offering guided tours through the clouds. Create a memorable experience you’ll never forget, just don’t forget to bring your camera! We have a feeling this kind of view will be Instagram worthy.

Re-fuel for lunch at Asteroid Cater

Once you’ve landed from your scenic sky adventure, blast off for lunch at Asteroid Cater. Located just eight minutes outside of Drumheller lives an out of this world taste, with homemade style classics such as burgers, fries, poutine, chicken strips, ice cream, milkshakes and more.

View the area from the Red Deer River

You’ve seen Drumheller from up above, now it’s time to see the area as you float down the Red Deer River, with Red Deer River Adventures. Experience the waters your way, with kayak and canoe rentals available, or take one of their guided tours. Gain a new perspective on the beauty of Drumheller, with various wildlife, stunning scenery and unique geology of the area, all from the astonishing view of the Red Deer River.

Valley Brewing (Craft Brewery & Tasting Room)

The warm and inviting tasting room is the perfect place to be on a warm summer afternoon. Perhaps even better than that is the spacious patio that overlooks a wonderfully maintained park, right here in downtown Drumheller.

They keep our core local beers on tap with rotating one-offs and seasonal’s, and craft a couple very delicious beer cocktails + offer non-alcoholic options too.

Take a Sunset Hike at Horseshoe Canyon

Just because the sun is setting doesn’t mean the adventures are ending! If you’ve never seen the sun set over a glacier-carved “U,” you’re missing out! Take an evening hike at Horseshoe Canyon and discover this natural beauty for yourself. If you still have your camera handy from your helicopter adventures, we recommend you bring it back out now (and if you don’t, trust us you’ll want to go get it!) This picturesque shot is one you’ll want to look back on for years to come.

Stay the Night at River Grove Campground and Cabins
