We’re thrilled to have you join us for the inaugural Prairies to Badlands Dinner Series, a pilot culinary and agritourism event bringing together food, story, and community in the heart of rural Alberta. This event is a proud collaboration between Kneehill County and Travel Drumheller, working together to spotlight the people, places, and flavours that make this region so special.

This page includes all the important details you’ll need as we prepare for our two sold-out evenings at the stunning Trochu Arboretum.

Time:

  • 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
    We recommend arriving by 3:45 PM if self-driving or catching a shuttle.

This is a set-menu experience, designed to showcase the best of our local producers and culinary partners.

We kindly ask that you submit your responses by August 8, 2025, to allow our team and catering partners ample time to prepare.

Transportation & Parking

Self-Driving:
Free guest parking is available at the back side (West side) of the Arboretum.

Shuttle Service:
Optional shuttles will be running both evenings, with pickup starting around 3:30 PM from each of our four partner accommodations. Return shuttles will depart between 8:30 – 9:30 PM.

Note: If you wish to arrive or depart at a different time or from another location, please arrange your own transportation.

Event Fundraiser

Proceeds from additional drink sales and optional donations will go directly to support the Badlands Trail Society, helping them grow and expand trail access into 2026 and beyond.
